Ordering & personalization
How do I personalize my piece?
On each product page you'll find a box marked "Personalize this piece." Enter the name, initials, or birthstone details exactly as you'd like them to appear, then choose any options such as chain length, metal, or size. We make it from what you enter, so please double-check spelling before checkout.
How long will my order take?
Personalized pieces take 7 business days to be made, plus shipping — approximately two weeks from order to your door. Pieces in our Ready to Ship collection are not personalized and ship within 1–2 business days.
Can I rush my order?
We don't currently offer expedited shipping, and personalization can't be rushed — the 7 business days of production apply to every custom piece. If you're working toward a specific date, email us at support@sennaejewelry.com before you order and we'll tell you honestly whether we can make it.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Within 24 hours of purchase, yes. After that your piece is already in production and we can't make changes. Email us as soon as possible.
Materials & care
What are your pieces made from?
Our personalized jewelry is high-quality brass with either 925 sterling silver plating or 14K gold plating, and is lead-free and nickel-free. Every piece in our Ready to Ship collection is gold-filled instead. Leather items use genuine cowhide.
Why are some pieces plated and some gold-filled?
Both bond real gold to a base metal; the difference is how, and each suits a different kind of piece. Plating is applied as a fine, even finish after a piece is shaped, which is what lets it sit smoothly over engraved names, initials, and fine detail — so it's what we use for personalized work. Gold-filled bonds a heavier layer before shaping, which suits simpler forms made ahead of time, like our Ready to Ship earrings. Cared for well, both hold their color for years.
Will it tarnish?
Our pieces wear best when kept dry. Take them off before showering, swimming, or exercising, and put them on after perfume, lotion, and hairspray. Stored well and worn kindly, they last for years.
How should I clean it?
Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid jewelry dips, polishes, and abrasive cloths — they can damage the finish. Store pieces separately so chains don't tangle or scratch.
Sizing
How do I find my ring size?
Wrap a strip of paper around the base of your finger, mark where it overlaps, and measure the length in millimeters against a ring size chart. Measure at the end of the day when fingers are largest, and size up if you're between sizes.
What necklace length should I choose?
16 inches sits at the collarbone, 18 inches just below it, and 20 inches on the upper chest. If you plan to layer, choose lengths at least two inches apart.
Shipping & returns
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes — standard shipping is free on orders over $100, and your discount code still counts toward it. Otherwise standard shipping is $8.00.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship within the United States. We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
Can I return my order?
Because personalized pieces are made for one person, those are final sale except in the case of damage or defect. Pieces from our Ready to Ship collection are not personalized, and can be returned unworn and in original condition within 14 days of delivery. If any item arrives damaged, defective, or doesn't match what you submitted, contact us within 14 days with your order number and photos and we'll replace it or refund you in full.
